Coaching for people who are good at what they do—but are no longer convinced it's what they want to keep doing.
By J offers career reinvention coaching for people navigating burnout, a job search, professional change, or the persistent feeling that something needs to shift.
You do not need to know the entire plan. We can start with the part you know.
You are capable. That does not mean you have to figure this out alone.
You may have experience, education, accomplishments, and a career other people think you should feel grateful for.
And still, you may be wondering:
Is this work still right for me?
Do I need a different job—or a completely different direction?
How do I explain what I want when I am still figuring it out?
What if I make the wrong move?
Why do I feel so stuck when I am usually good at solving problems?
Maybe you are exhausted by the job search. Maybe burnout has made it difficult to remember what you are good at. Maybe you have several possible paths and no idea which one is actually yours.
Or maybe everything looks fine from the outside, but you know something no longer fits.
I work especially well with thoughtful, ambitious people who are ready to be honest about what is not working—and curious about what could come next.
You do not need to be completely certain. You just need to be willing to look at the question.
You can bring:
A career or job-search question
A decision about whether to stay or leave
Burnout, rejection, or a loss of confidence
An upcoming interview or professional opportunity
Several possible paths you cannot seem to sort through
A career or business idea you want to explore
A transition you did not choose
A goal you keep delaying
The feeling that your old definition of success no longer fits
"I do not know where to start" is also a completely valid place to begin.
Honest conversation. Thoughtful questions. A practical way forward.
Coaching gives you a confidential place to slow the situation down, hear yourself more clearly, and determine what meaningful movement could look like.
You bring the question, frustration, decision, or possibility.
I bring careful listening, strategic reflection, real talk, and structure.
During a session, we may:
Name what is happening beneath the obvious problem
Sort through competing priorities and possibilities
Identify patterns or assumptions keeping you stuck
Reconnect you with strengths you may have stopped seeing
Clarify what you want—not only what you think you should want
Turn reflection into a next step you can actually take
I will not hand you a generic formula or decide what you should do with your life. I may challenge an assumption, reflect something you have not said directly, or ask the question everyone else keeps avoiding.
Your career is connected to your confidence, identity, relationships, finances, energy, ambition, and the kind of life you want to build. We make room for that full context without losing sight of the practical decision in front of you.
What a Session Feels Like
Sessions are conversational, focused, and shaped around what you need that day.
You may arrive with one specific decision. You may arrive with five different problems that are somehow all connected. You may arrive knowing what you want but unable to make yourself act on it.
Our conversations may be thoughtful, practical, challenging, funny, emotional, or all of the above.
You will not be expected to perform, impress me, or pretend you already know the answer.
You’re part of the process. We keep communication open and decisions shared—no black boxes or surprises.
Collaborate Openly
When we deliver, it’s not just a finished product—it’s a solution you can trust, backed by real care and effort.

Bring the career question, difficult decision, unfinished idea, or feeling you cannot quite shake.
We will start there.
